Research for this collection involved self-reflection, thinking of our personal life experiences, past and present, and the emotional work one must do in order to have self-forgiveness. We explored and questioned our own understandings of masculinity and femininity, sexuality and sensuality, and how those themes effect our ability to have authenticity in self-expression. In this collection we looked to evoke softness, either in tactility or essence, because there is power in softness. We also sought to offer versatility in each garment, creating opportunities for one to ultimately define elegance for themselves. Our goal was to create space so many like us can find themselves and express themselves freely.
